Salisbury Steak


2 Eggs
1pkg. dry onion soup mix
(reconstituted w/ 2c water)
¾ C Oatmeal (old fashioned/not instant!)
¼ tsp. Salt
2 lbs. hamburger
1 ½ TBS. Flour
1/3 C Water
1/3 C Ketchup
1 ½ tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. Mustard
Beat Egg
Stir in ½ C Soup, Oatmeal, and Salt
Add hamburger
Mix
Form into Oval Patties (no less than 4)
Brown each side 3-4 minutes
Set aside
In skillet, combine flour & water til smooth
Add ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce,
mustard, and remaining soup
Bring to Boil
Cook and stir for 2 minutes
Return Patties to Skillet
Cover and simmer 15 minutes
